Span capabilities:
3/4" dia - spans up to 55" without a support bracket
1" dia - spans up to 60" without a support bracket

1 1/4" dia - spans up to 75" without a support bracket
1 1/2" dia - spans up to 90" without a support bracket
2" dia - spans up to 100" without a support bracket

Our rods are made to order and are one solid piece. They do not telescope.

We'd suggest an absolute minimum of 3" extra length on both the left and right side of your window. Please consider your draperies and how much space they will take up when stacked off your window/door space and plan accordingly with your drapery rod. 

If your rod length is longer than 94", your rod will come in two equal pieces due to shipping restrictions. Because of this, you will also need to add the following items to your order:

(1) Splice

(1) Horizontal Plate Support Bracket

With our Build Your Own option, you will need to consider additional items to complete your project. Based on your length, you might need a splice (if your rod is longer than 94"), a support bracket based on the span capabilities of your chosen diameter, finials for the ends of your rod and your drapery rings to hang your draperies.
